Background
La ferronnerie d’art, self-evident
Born in Chambéry, Jean-Charles Rodriguez discovered his aptitude for manual work at a very early age. He then pursued his studies in metalwork, during which a particular scene would spark his creativity. While attending the production of a wrought-iron marquise, he was captivated by the technique and poetry emanating from his instructor’s gestures. Won over by this demonstration and henceforth certain that metalwork offers infinite creative freedom, he became an “artistic metalworker”.
Passion, know-how and talent at the service of “top-quality metalwork”
He nurtured his passion and developed his skills alongside “Compagnons du Devoir” metal craftsmen in Savoy and near Geneva, in Upper Savoy, for about ten years, then for five years as workshop manager in a Monaco-based firm. In 2012, with his wife Mélanie, he took over the “Ferronnerie d’Art” in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, founded in 1947. The complementary nature of their skills, their congeniality, attentiveness, and the team’s talent convinced the most demanding clients.

Today, La Ferronnerie specializes in the creation of exceptional works with a meticulous finish. In constant pursuit of excellence, Jean-Charles and his team master steel, brass and stainless steel to produce artistic embellishments and unique pieces of furniture: railings, marquises, awnings, pergolas, staircases, safety barriers, gates, doors, light fixtures…

From reflection to implementation
In dedicated new premises, Jean-Charles Rodriguez gives shape to your project by producing a sketch, a 3D visual and an execution plan. He can also design a photo montage setting the project in its situation to appreciate its æsthetics. With the work thus staged, the client is guaranteed that the result will meet his requirements.

150 sq.m in Beaulieu-sur-Mer dedicated to metalwork, with a vast array of traditional and modern tools for forging, embossing, welding, polishing, varnishing, turning, chiseling, finishing touches, but also laser and water-jet cutting… to finally obtain a unique, high-quality creation.
